Summer School in Food Law - 1st Edition A.Y. 2026/2027

The course is mainly intended for:

• Students and recent graduates (Bachelor's and Master's) or those specializing in biology, veterinary medicine, nutrition sciences, food technologies, law, economics, pharmacy, medicine, or gastronomic sciences.
• Employees of agri-food companies from all sectors, provided they hold at least a three-year degree or equivalent.
• Public officials involved in Official Control (doctors, veterinarians, biologists, prevention technicians, pharmacists, and other interested officials with at least a three-year degree).
• Academics (professors, researchers, PhD students, post-docs, and research contractors from all Italian and foreign faculties).
• Participants without an academic degree who have significant work experience that justifies their admission, subject to the evaluation of a detailed CV and a motivation letter by the Scientific Committee.
• Professionals: lawyers, business consultants, accountants, agronomists, food technologists, and prevention technicians

The course will take place in person at the Sant’Abbondio training center in Como, University of Insubria, on 24th and 25th September 2026.

The Summer School has a maximum of 60 participants, divided as follows:

• 20 participants from the CNA-CeDiSA permanent training program (free of charge, excluding catering/accommodation), who can apply by emailing cedisa@uniupo.it.
• 20 external participants at a cost of € 250.00 each (includes registration, catering, and social dinner), selected by chronological order of application sent to cedisa@uniupo.it.

The participants from the CNA-CeDiSA permanent training program and the external participants can apply until 18th September 2026 4.00 p.m. CEST by emailing cedisa@uniupo.it. 

• 20 participants selected by the host entity (University of Insubria + local ATS) (free of charge, excluding catering/accommodation).

The names of the 20 partecipants  selected by the host entity (Università dell’Insubria + ATS locale) will be sent by the host entity to the email cedisa@uniupo.it. 

• Application Deadline: External and CNA-CeDiSA participants can apply until 4:00 PM CEST on 18th September 2026, by emailing cedisa@uniupo.it.
• External Participant Cost: € 250.00 (includes registration, catering, and social dinner and € 2,00 of revenue stamp). Costs of accommodation are excluded.
• Free Participant Costs: For those from CNA-CeDiSA or the host entity, the course is free, but they must pay € 30.00 for catering and € 60.00 for the social dinner if they wish to use these services. Costs of accommodation are excludedf.

Fees must be paid via the EasyCommerce platform (pagoPA) between 16th July 2026 and 24th September 2026.

At the end of the Summer School, those who have attended both days will receive a certificate of participation
