2. Review Group - Research

Responsibility for Research and Third Mission activities, as well as for their quality, remains with the Department Manager.

The Departments must guarantee a constant commitment to continuous improvement of Research and Third Mission, understood as the ability to work towards increasingly valuable results, setting objectives in line with the best national and international practices.

It is the Department's duty to define and implement the procedures to achieve the objectives, and periodically monitor them.

It is the responsibility of the Department Manager to:

  • draft a document that defines the Quality Assurance Policy and which clearly illustrates the implementation methods of the QA process, the roles of the structures and people involved, and the tasks and responsibilities assigned
  • draw up the Department's Three-Year Plan (definition of objectives, identification and implementation of actions that make it possible to achieve them)
  • monitor the achievement of the objectives
