04. Teacher-Student Joint Committee (CPSD)

Each Department (in the case of Medical Area Departments, the School) appoints a Joint Teacher-Student Committee made up of an equal number of teachers and students, where possible representing all the degree programmes belonging to the Department or School.

To guarantee impartiality, the Chairs of the degree programmes, the Department Managers or the Chair of the School must not be part of this committee The joint committee is coordinated by a teacher chosen from among the members of the committee itself.

The committee has the task of:

• carrying out continuous monitoring of courses and quality of teaching, as well as the services for students offered by professors and researchers
• identifying indicators to evaluate the results of the educational proposal
• formulating opinions on the activation and removal of courses
• drawing up an annual report.
