The University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO) and its Equal Opportunities Committee (CUG), in collaboration with Telefono Rosa Piemonte in Turin, announce the launch of a new helpline dedicated to supporting and listening to women victims of male violence — a multicampus help desk open to the entire academic community. The pilot phase of this new service will run until October 31, 2025, and is supported by the CRT Foundation.
Telefono Rosa Piemonte in Turin is a completely free service that ensures anonymity and confidentiality. It is available to female and male students, faculty, and technical-administrative and library staff at UPO, offering guidance, advice, and, when necessary, psychological and/or legal support for women experiencing male violence, discrimination, or harassment.
The service is available Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at the following phone numbers:
011.530666 and 011.5628314.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, evening hours are also available from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, reachable at landline 011.5628314 or mobile 327.3275692.
This new multicampus help desk is designed to be a tangible point of reference for anyone experiencing physical, psychological, sexual, or economic violence, or situations of abuse, stalking, or discrimination — including online violence. It reinforces the University’s commitment to protecting rights and fostering a safe and respectful environment for everyone, as also outlined in the 2024–2030 Strategic Plan recently approved by UPO’s governing bodies.
